About Bitumen Grades and Packing
This page lists indicative weekly bitumen prices in USD per metric ton. Prices are refreshed every week and each week is kept in the archive above.
Bitumen 60/70 and 80/100
Penetration-grade bitumen, classified by how far a standard needle penetrates the sample at 25 °C. Widely used for road paving and asphalt production. The harder 60/70 grade is generally chosen for warmer climates, and 80/100 for moderate to cooler conditions.
Bitumen VG40
A viscosity-graded paving bitumen (IS 73), typically specified for heavy traffic and hot climates.
Bitumen 200/300
A soft penetration-grade bitumen used in very cold climates and in some industrial applications.
Packing options
- Jumbo Bag – large bags of solid bitumen, loaded into containers.
- Flexibag – flexible bag placed inside a container for liquid bitumen.
- Steel Drum – bitumen packed in steel drums.
- Bulk Bitumen – liquid bitumen shipped in bulk tankers or vessels.
- Bitutaner – bitumen shipped in a tank-type container.
