Bitumen 60/70

Bitumen 60/70 is a type of refinery bitumen that is obtained from the vacuum aeration of the distillation tower. Its penetration degree is between 60 and 70.

This grade of bitumen is produced through a blowing process in a refinery, just like other penetration grades. Due to its medium air blowing and penetration, it is suitable for mild areas and is highly recommended for use in temperate climates. Bitumen 60/70 is mainly used for the pavement of roads suitable for commercial traffic.

3. Adhesion: The adhesion of this type is good. This means that this bitumen can adhere well to other surfaces.

4. Permeability: Its permeability is relatively low, which means that this bitumen is resistant to water penetration.

5. Dynamic softening temperature: Its dynamic softening temperature is between 35 and 45 degrees Celsius.
